We want our students to receive a world-class education in world-class schools, which is why we are replacing transportables with brand-new classrooms.
We want our students to receive a world-class education in world-class schools, which is why we are replacing transportables with brand-new classrooms.
A re-elected Marshall Liberal Government will invest nearly $40 million to replace old transportable buildings across South Australian schools, supporting students with modern and world-class learning spaces.
This will see ageing structures removed at 20 school sites across the site as a first stage in what will become an ongoing program for getting rid of outdated facilities.
This is in addition to our record $1.5 billion investment – the largest amount of any state government in history – to build five brand new schools and upgrade more than 100 schools.
And these new buildings won’t just provide excellent learning environments; they will also support the building industry and local jobs.
A re-elected Marshall Liberal Government will also invest $8 million for 25 new school buses for regional South Australia. This funding will also go towards maintenance of the current small bus fleet.
Labor would have you believe that they’re the party that delivers on education but the evidence speaks for itself.
