Just like we said we’d do, the Marshall Liberal Government fixed the way South Australians are charged for water, ensuring they are not paying any more than they should for this essential service.

The average household is now saving almost $200 per year while an average business is receiving annual savings of around $1,450.

This is in stark contrast to the massive hikes to water bills under Labor which saw the average household bill increase from $230 to an estimated $770 - the highest water prices in the nation.

After enduring massive hikes to water bills under the former Labor government, families and businesses finally have a government that puts money back into their pockets.

And lower water bills are only part of how we are delivering on our promise to lower costs for households and businesses, with the average household saving $1,092 per year under the Marshall Liberal Government.
