The Marshall Liberal Government has finished the Regency to Pym Street section of the North-South Corridor - under budget and ahead of schedule - saving drivers up to eight minutes during peak periods.
Now, we are delivering the final and most complex section – Torrens to Darlington - with $5.4 billion already committed and initial works underway.
This is the biggest ever infrastructure project in our state’s history, creating 4,900 jobs and completing a 78-kilometre, non-stop motorway from Gawler to Old Noarlunga.
Our Torrens to Darlington solution includes two tunnels and will save drivers around 20 minutes. Importantly this solution minimises the impact on suburbs, homes and businesses, protecting our heritage and increasing property values.
The North-South corridor is part of the Marshall Liberal Government’s record $17.9 billion investment in infrastructure across the state which is creating more than 19,000 jobs and building what matters to South Australians.
