The Marshall Liberal Government is duplicating Main South Road and Victor Harbor Road to give you a safer and faster journey.

What we've done

The Marshall Liberal Government is delivering the Fleurieu Connections Main South Road and Victor Harbor Road duplication project.

Together with the Federal Government, this $560 million project will result in a safer and faster journey and will provide a vital boost for local tourism and jobs.

Unlike Labor who talked a lot but never delivered or funded anything, we’re getting on with the job of fixing this important stretch of road, with works to begin in late 2021.

We are delivering:

  • Main South Road: duplicating the road between Seaford and Aldinga, building an overpass at the intersection of Tatachilla and Maslin Beach Roads, grade separation at the intersection of Port Road and Main South Road and a dual lane roundabout at the Main South Road and Aldinga Road junction
  • Victor Harbor Road: duplicating the road between Main South Road and Main Road, McLaren Vale and adding other safety upgrades, like overtaking lanes, elsewhere on this road

This project is part of our record $17.9 billion Building What Matters infrastructure program which is creating thousands of jobs and improving the lives of South Australians.
