The Marshall Liberal Government is delivering a major upgrade of Glossop High School including amalgamating both campuses at Berri and renaming the school as Berri Regional Secondary College. It is as part of our record $1.5 billion investment to build and upgrade schools across the state.
This $17.8 million upgrade will support the transition of year 7 to high school and, with space for 800 students, it will help us meet enrolment demands now and in the future.
We are refurbishing and expanding existing buildings including administration and performing art spaces and constructing two new multi-purpose buildings with flexible spaces for home economics, technology and more.
Construction is on schedule to be delivered in time to welcome students in Term 1, 2022.
This is one of more than 100 school builds and upgrades that are being delivered, providing world-class facilities for our children and thousands of local jobs for South Australians.
