High School Upgraded

We have completed an upgrade of Golden Grove High School, giving students access to world-class facilities and creating local jobs.

What we've done

The Marshall Liberal Government has delivered a major upgrade of Golden Grove High School as part of our record $1.5 billion investment to build and upgrade schools across the state.

This $15.5 million upgrade has made the transition of year 7 to high school possible and will help us meet enrolment demands in our growing north-eastern suburbs.

Key features of the upgrade include a new two-storey learning centre; a new two-storey performing arts and year 12 study centre; a large increase in landscaped courtyards and outdoor learning areas; and additional car parking.

Importantly, this upgrade involved more than 300 local students in the project’s design and construction, providing an invaluable learning experience for students who may be interested in pursuing a career in building and construction.

This upgrade is one of more than 100 school builds and upgrades that are being delivered, providing world-class facilities for our children and thousands of local jobs for South Australians.
