We will give South Australian families a new space to enjoy water activities all year round by providing funding for a new Adelaide Aquatic Centre.

A re-elected Marshall Liberal Government will provide $25 million towards a new Aquatic Centre in North Adelaide.
The new Adelaide Aquatic Centre will include an Olympic-length indoor pool, a 25-metre indoor pool, a large indoor water play and leisure pool, an outdoor leisure pool, a dedicated learn-to-swim pool, a warm hydrotherapy pool, gym and group fitness areas.
Unlike Labor’s plan which would require South Australian taxpayers to pay all construction and operating costs, our funding enables this $85 million facility to be delivered as part of a three-way funding split with the Adelaide City Council and Federal Government.
Importantly, the pool would be owned and run by the Adelaide City Council which means that families can enjoy a brand-new swimming facility without footing the entire bill for the $2 million per year in operating costs.
