The Marshall Liberal Government has built a new B-12 school in Angle Vale as part of our record $1.5 billion investment to build and upgrade schools across the state.
This modern state-of-the-art birth to Year 12 school – Riverbanks College – will accommodate up to 1,675 students, meeting a critical need presented by a growing population of young families in Angle Vale and surrounding areas.
It has modern learning facilities that focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics, a 300-seat performing arts centre, and an entrepreneurial hub. It has expansive outdoor facilities including courts, a gym and sporting fields that will also be open for community use outside of school hours.
Construction of Riverbanks College has been completed with the first students starting in term 1, 2022.
This is one of more than 100 school builds and upgrades that are being delivered, providing world-class facilities for our children and thousands of local jobs for South Australians.
