What we've done

The Marshall Liberal Government has built an $100 million new high school in Whyalla as part of our record $1.5 billion investment to build and upgrade schools across the state.

We have confidence in the future of Whyalla and we are supporting the region’s young people by ensuring they have the best possible education in the best possible learning environment.

This new school will accommodate 1500 students from year 7 to year 12 and has STEM focused areas, a performing arts theatre and sports facilities that can also be used by the community outside of school hours.

This is one of more than 100 school builds and upgrades that are being delivered, providing world-class facilities for our children and thousands of local jobs for South Australians.
