What we've done

The Marshall Liberal Government is upgrading roads and intersections across the state – including the intersection of North East Road and South Para Road, Chain of Ponds.

We have improved safety and traffic flow at this location by delivering improved sight distance for traffic turning right out of South Para Road, a free flow left turn lane and a sheltered right turn lane.

We have also improved the line marking, lighting, signage and safety barriers at this location.

This upgraded intersection is now open to traffic.

This project is part of our record $17.9 billion Building What Matters infrastructure program which is creating thousands of jobs and improving the lives of South Australians.
