High School Upgrade

We are upgrading Norwood International High School, giving students in our growing eastern suburbs access to world-class facilities and creating local jobs.

What we've done

The Marshall Liberal Government is delivering a major upgrade of Norwood International High School as part of our record $1.5 billion investment to build and upgrade schools across the state.

We are merging two campuses into one state-of-the-art learning facility for 1,700 students.

This $54.9 million upgrade includes a new 3-storey middle school building with rooftop space for students, a new technical/specialist precinct, new sports facilities and more.

With enrolment pressure steadily increasing in the eastern suburbs, this upgrade will help us meet enrolment demands now and in the future.

This is one of more than 100 school builds and upgrades that are being delivered, providing world-class facilities for our children and thousands of local jobs for South Australians.

What it means for you
