The Marshall Liberal Government is upgrading roads and intersections across the state – including the intersection of Main North Road with Nottage Terrace.
As our north and north eastern suburbs continue to grow rapidly, this intersection has quickly become one of Adelaide’s busiest with over 67,000 people passing through this location every day.
There is a need for additional capacity on all approaches to the intersection and to provide additional right turn capacity from Main North Road onto Nottage Terrace.
Our upgrade has delivered exactly this – doubling the number of turning lanes and adding more through lanes to keep traffic moving.
We have also provided funding of $6 million to upgrade the intersection of Nottage Terrace and North East Road to include dual left turn lanes from Nottage Terrace into North East Road.
These projects are part of our record $17.9 billion Building What Matters infrastructure program which is creating thousands of jobs and improving the lives of South Australians.
