Upgrading
Mt Lofty Trail

We are upgrading the Mt Lofty Precinct as part of our record investment in South Australia's parks.

What we've done

The Marshall Liberal Government is upgrading Mount Lofty Precinct with better trails, a new elevated boardwalk section, revegetation and improved signage.

Waterfall Gully to Mount Lofty Summit is one of South Australia’s most popular walking trails and this upgrade will benefit the approximately 600,000 people who use it every year.

The former Labor Government ripped funding out of our parks.

In contrast, the Marshall Liberal Government is investing a record amount in parks across the state, protecting our precious environment and ensuring people are able to enjoy our picturesque open spaces for generations to come.

What it means for you

  • Better places for you, your friends and family to get outside and connect with nature
  • Protecting our environment for you now and for future generations
  • Boosting visitor numbers in our parks, increasing nature-based tourism and creating jobs
