High School Upgrade

We have upgraded Murray Bridge High School, giving students access to world-class facilities and creating local jobs.

What we've done

The Marshall Liberal Government has delivered a major upgrade of Murray Bridge High School as part of our record $1.5 billion investment to build and upgrade schools across the state.

Our $20 million upgrade created local jobs, made the transition of year 7 to high school possible and will ensure we can meet enrolment demands in this growing regional area.

Key features of this upgrade include new classrooms, a new special education centre, a new technical studies building, refurbished art spaces and better landscaping.

We have also built a new entrepreneurial centre at the school as part of our entrepreneurial specialist schools program. This program is giving kids in the city and our regions support to pilot social and business ventures and form mentoring relationships with successful entrepreneurs and businesses.

This upgrade has been completed and is one of more than 100 school builds and upgrades that are being delivered, providing world-class facilities for our children and thousands of local jobs for South Australians.
