Upgrading the Glen
Osmond/Fullarton
Road intersection

We are getting traffic moving across Adelaide, improving safety and traffic flow and creating local jobs in the process.

What we've done

The Marshall Liberal Government is upgrading roads and intersections across the state – including the intersection of Glen Osmond Road and Fullarton Road, Frewville.

With almost 60,000 vehicles going through this intersection every day, it is a vital connection between the city and the Mitcham Hills; the South Eastern Freeway and eastern suburbs.

This $35 million upgrade will ease the heavy congestion currently experienced at this location by widening Glen Osmond Road and adding additional through lanes and turning lanes.

Major works will start in early 2022, with completion expected in late 2022.

This project is part of our record $17.9 billion Building What Matters infrastructure program which is creating thousands of jobs and improving the lives of South Australians.

What it means for you

  • Getting you where you want to go quicker and safer
  • Less time in traffic means more time doing the things you love
  • More local jobs
