High School Upgrade

We are upgrading Underdale High School, giving students access to world-class facilities and creating local jobs.

What we've done

The Marshall Liberal Government is delivering a major upgrade of Underdale High School as part of our record $1.5 billion investment to build and upgrade schools across the state.

Our $20 million upgrade is creating local jobs, making the transition of year 7 to high school possible and helping us meet enrolment demands in Adelaide’s western suburbs now and in the future.

Key features of the upgrade include a new performing arts centre, new science labs, a refit of the home economic and technology buildings and a new 2-storey administration building.

This upgrade is one of more than 100 school builds and upgrades that are being delivered, providing world-class facilities for our children and thousands of local jobs for South Australians.

What it means for you

  • Our kids will get a world-class education in a world-class school
  • We can meet enrolment demands in this growing area now and in the future
