What we've done

The Marshall Liberal Government has successfully moved year 7 into high school across South Australia for the start of 2022 school year.

This important reform ensures our kids have access to specialist teachers in a specialist high-school setting a whole year earlier, as designed in the national curriculum and as is the case in all other states.

While Labor left our young people behind, we got on with the job of delivering this important education reform.

We have hired hundreds of extra teachers and are delivering a record $1.5 billion in school builds and upgrades, creating space for the transition and creating thousands of local jobs in the process.

We remain committed to delivering world-class education that achieves growth for every child, in every class, in every school.
